India’s leading car manufacturer JSW MG Motor India has launched its new and premium SUV MG Majestor in the Indian market today i.e. on 12 February. This new SUV is a D+ segment SUV, which will be positioned above the company’s existing MG Gloster. The new MG Majestor SUV will directly compete with the likes of the Toyota Fortuner and Volkswagen Tayron R-Line in the Indian market. Let’s find out the details.
MG Majestor SUV Price and Bookings:
Talking about the price of the new MG Majestor SUV, the company has not yet announced the prices of this SUV. The prices of this SUV will be announced in April 2026 but it is estimated that the price of this SUV can be around Rs 40 to 45 lakh. Pre-bookings for the MG Majestor have begun. It can be reserved by customers for a pittance of just ₹41,000. Deliveries begin in May 2026, and reservations can be made online or through authorized dealerships.
MG Majestor SUV Deals
The company has announced deals on the MG Majestor SUV in addition to its introduction. These deals are only available to new clients. The first 3,000 clients will receive a 5-5-5 Peace of Mind package from the business. This includes five labor-free services, five years of roadside support, and a five-year warranty with unlimited kilometers. Additionally, the first 1,000 customers will also get an exclusive invite for the ICICI Emeralde credit card. Customers who pre-book will also get the opportunity of priority delivery and exclusive preview.
The MG Majestor SUV is offered in three variants: Sharp 4×2, Savvy 4×2, and Savvy 4×4. Color options include the new SUV, which will be available in four different colors.
MG Majestor SUV Features
The MG Majestor’s cabin is designed to offer a premium and luxurious feel. Inside, the car features premium leatherette upholstery with a dual-tone theme. This gives the SUV a high-end look. The dashboard features two large 12.3-inch screens: one for the infotainment system and the other for the digital instrument cluster. MG Majestor will get features like ventilated and heated front seats, seats with massage function, 3-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, 12-speaker JBL premium sound system.
The MG Majestor is also quite robust in terms of safety. It features Level 2 ADAS, which makes driving safer.
MG Majestor Engine
Talking about the engine of MG Majestor, MG Majestor comes with a 2.0-litre twin-turbocharged diesel engine. This engine produces around 215 bhp and 478 Nm of torque and is paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. For those who enjoy adventure and off-road driving, the MG Majestor will be available in a 4×4 diesel variant with a selectable all-wheel drive (AWD) system.
